STORAGE OF
ORGANIC PEROXIDES
Due to the risk of explosion, organic peroxides are divided into are divided into
types A/B/C/D/E/F/G
Facilities such as chemical containers in which
peroxides are stored are classifi ed as explosion hazard
categories:
Danger group I (includes A/B/C types) qualifi ed to the MW 1
explosion hazard category
Danger group II (includes D types) qualifi ed to the category
of MW 2 explosion hazard
Danger group III (includes types E/F/G) are not qualifi ed for
the explosion category
The rules for determining the explosion hazard zones of mixtures
of fl ammable materials with air in the facilities to the appropriate
explosion hazard category are specifi ed in the fi re regulations.
The maximum mass of peroxides
stored in one compartment must
An insulated container for the storage of peroxides is a free-standing, single-storey

The rooms should be arranged in series, all entrances are located on the same side.
Danger group I
Storage containers for the storage of organic peroxides have a relief surface in the form of a

fl at roof, which as a relief surface does not exceed 75 kg / m2.
Danger group II
In storage containers, which have separate storage chambers, and the relieving surface is the
